Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strong rehab respect and presence within the Rehab facilities to ensure all Future Mobility Products are at the forefront of the assigned geographical areas.
• Establish strategic action plans for assigned geographical areas to ensure Future Mobility’s mobility and seating product portfolio holds the majority market share within each facility.
• Call on/establish relationships with referral sources (for example; outpatient services, facilities, home care coordinators, therapists, etc.).
• Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and potential customers by effectively designing and executing a call pattern.
• Demonstrate products and services and assist prospective providers – in the selection of those best suited to their needs. Propose ideas to utilize Future Mobility demonstration inventory offering better.
• Responsible for the managing, tracking and financial responsibility of a company demo inventory account.
• Report product quality concerns or customer complaints timely according to company quality compliance procedures.
• Participate in product field evaluation sessions.
• Work effectively with all Future Mobility departments to exceed sales goals and expectations and ensure adequate Future Mobility Products saturation within all Rehab facilities.
• Prepare documents such as price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, and service obligations.
• Notify the company of competitive products, promotional sales, selling techniques, pricing, warranties, and marketing policies that are seen in the industry.
• Submit reports on daily activities/sales volumes.
• Conduct all business transactions in a manner that upholds the high ethical standards of Future Mobility Products.
• Complete all required training applicable to the assigned position.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong skill in dealing with customer care, communication, persuasiveness, and negotiation, native English and Spanish speaking is preferred.
• Able to respond effectively to multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and be a good team player
• Advanced levels on computer, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Email. CRM tools.

 

Education:

• Post-secondary education, College degree/diploma in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2~5 years related sales/customer services  and industry experience
• Prefer to have experience in selling products to retailers / professionals / dealers market
• Fluent English and Spanish Speaking preferred

 

Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize wheelchairs, backrests, and mobility accessories, ensuring compliance with ergonomic and clinical requirements.
• Create prototypes, conduct rigorous testing for durability and functionality, and ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards (ISO, FDA, etc.).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, occupational therapists, and sales teams, to design solutions that meet customer needs.
• Evaluate and recommend materials suitable for lightweight, durable, and high-strength mobility products.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Ensure designs meet healthcare-specific regulations and standards, including safety, usability, and performance requirements.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical documentation, and reports for manufacturing and regulatory submissions.
•  Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare product design and engineering.

 

Education, Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years in mechanical engineering, with experience in the healthcare or medical devices industry preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) and simulation tools (FEA, CFD). Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
• Familiarity with assistive devices, medical equipment design, or mobility solutions is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Knowledge of ISO, FDA regulations, or other relevant standards is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust to a fast-paced environment.
